Added Activities:
There are added activities in the opening of Section of each Chapter. The narrative voice of the materials is speaking to a student in a composition class (“here’s how to write a paragraph using evidence,” etc.). It is supported with anonymous student essay artifacts the class studies to represent common pitfalls for students to avoid in order to learn what to do/not to do. Instructors might use these materials as in-class lessons.
New References have been added to support additional quoted materials and added recent events.
